The official animal shelter and animal welfare agency for Jasper County, South Carolina. Located in Ridgeland, the shelter provides care and temporary housing for lost, abandoned, neglected, and surrendered dogs and cats while working to place adoptable animals into responsible homes.
Facility Services
Located at 1352 Carters Mill Rd in Ridgeland, the facility offers animal intake services, pet adoptions, microchipping programs, spay/neuter initiatives, and community education focused on responsible pet ownership. Managed by the Jasper County Sheriff's Office, the organization also works to reduce pet overpopulation through low-cost and free community programs, including spay/neuter assistance and trap-neuter-return (TNR) services for feral cats. Through its shelter operations and outreach efforts, Jasper County Animal Services plays a vital role in promoting animal welfare and public safety throughout Jasper County.
